How would you feel sitting in a really, really hot room without even a fan?
When we call it sauna, we would pay a good amount of money to experience it in a luxury hotel.
But when it is a power cut in the summer, we would curse the heavens for the misery.
In both cases, the experience is the same – it is neither good nor bad. It is what our mind makes it to be.
A lot of experiences in life are like that. Walking for 10 km carrying a heavy bag is misery. But when we call it hiking, we love it.
More often than not, the misery, as well as the happiness we experience, is manufactured by our mind.
