How to change your life?

All it takes is 3-6 months to change your life. Here is what you need to know:

99% of the things that make us happier, healthier, and more prosperous are simple but hard. However, our mind seeks things that are complex but easy. Here are some examples.

Instead of building a regular reading habit, we look for fancy reading techniques (e.g., speed-reading, upside-down reading, whatever…)

To lose fat, we want that nutritional supplement, which will burn our belly fat while we sleep. Instead of getting good sleep and a good diet, we want to hack our metabolism. Even something as simple as meditation is made way more complex than necessary.

Why do we do that?

We want to trade-off ‘simple but hard’ with ‘complex but easy’ hoping that complexity will do the job so we can take it easy. But that trade-off is a lie. It doesn’t work.

If you want to make a fresh start in 2023, reject this trade-off.

Stop chasing complex but easy. Do things the straightforward way. In 3-6 months, you will be measurably healthier, wiser, and happier.

Most hacks and shortcuts waste your time. And someday, we will all realize that. Why not now?
